Christmas is almost here and so is the rain. Business is slow giving us time to make jams and seasoning salts and to tend to the garden. I normally love the rain, but with our dining room completely exposed i don’t like it too much. Our crops sure do. The cauliflower and broccoli are rising tall They are firm and healthy and should be ready to harvest in a few weeks. I laid seeds on Monday in 3 of the beds. I scattered, fennel, ciccoria and raddicchio seeds. We use lots of raddicchio so I am hopeful we’ll reap a nice crop.
Anne created some fantastic holiday cards. Stop by and take a look.
We also have new items for the holidays. We have a Rosemary infused Pear Jam, a Rosemary Honey, Pomegranate and Cranberry Jam, Blackberry Jam and Seasoning Salts. We have a Curry Salt and a Spanish Paprika and Dried Chili Salt. By Sunday we will have a few more salts and another jam.
Found a couple of my favorite books.
