Happy New Year From Fiore Market Cafe

Hello everyone. Happy New Year. We were closed today at Fiore Market Cafe, but will be open at 11:00am tomorrow. Anne and I had a day of rest. I made strawberry balsamic jam. Anne created new cards for the store. She is getting Valentine’s Day cards out on the shelves for our next holiday. I made 20 loaves of bread for tomorrow. We’re expecting a big day after the Rose Parade.

To top off the day we made pizza in the wood oven. It turned out terrific. Patrick says the best ever. Here are some photographs from the day. Enjoy. New jam will be available tomorrow.

Looks incredible- will the pizza be available on the menu? Looking forward to trying one of your Farmer’s Market dinners this year. Happy New Year to you and Anne- you two have brought something so special in Cafe Fiore- it tastes and feels like home!

Grazie Anne. This pizza I baked on our wood oven. I bought the oven a couple of years ago because I originally wanted to open a wood burning pizza restaurant, but I couldn’t find a space to accommodate the oven. Today was the first day we made pizza in a long long time. It was a lot of fun.

I plan on scheduling a Thursday night dinner soon. Say hello to Juan and we’ll see you guys soon. Thanks for your support.
