I haven’t posted in awhile. I’ve been too busy. It’s funny how the day flies by. I have been driving my son’s old 4 runner to the metro station in the morning to take the train to the Mission station. From there I walk the few blocks to Fiore. It’s a great way to start the day especially when it’s sunny like it has been. It helps listening to Pandora on the I-Phone.
Here are a few new pictures. Our tomatoes are starting to come in. There are many on the vine, but only a few have ripened enough to harvest. I did get a nice one a week ago. I sliced it, drizzled it with some good olive oil and and set it on grilled home made bread. As soon as I have a more I will run daily bruschetta specials with these tomatoes and different cheeses.
There is a great new play at the Fremont Centre Theatre called South of Delancey. For more info check out the Fremont Centre Theatre website.
Anne and I just received a shipment of French Jams. We stock a Provence black fig jam, a black cherry jam and a great artichoke pesto. We have two new French vinegars. One is flavored with herbs d’ Provence the other is a raspberry vinegar. They are both really nice over fresh greens with a little extra virgin olive oil. We also have some new cacciatore salami and the best pepperoni that you’ll find. Stop by to try some of these new items. Ciao.
I picked up a few very old Adirondack chairs this week. They are used and very worn., but they have charm. I painted the side table and hope to paint the chairs tomorrow. Today I set them on the grass under the tree out front. I think they’ll be perfect for a mid afternoon rest.
We are now open until 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. After Memorial Day we will be open until 8:00pm every day
